Emily is a Colorado native and has been established professionally in the Denver community since 1982. She is a certified graduate gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America and is qualified to perform detailed appraisal evaluations for insurance replacement or estate liquidation. She has over twenty five years experience as a goldsmith and has apprenticed under master jewelers in Japan, Indonesia and the United States.
Graduate Gemology Degree and Retail Certification
Two years of study including a year of study in Japan, attending Gogi University in Tokyo with a jewelry apprenticeship on Suwanose Jima Island in the Ryukuian chain in southern Japan.

Emily also serves as International Program Director for AHAN (the Aikido Humanitarian Active Network) AHAN is the international humanitarian services branch of Nippon Kan Culture Center headquartered in Denver, Colorado since 1978.
